The Little Store in Woodside

Slow surly service. Not a steakhouse. Not French. Last time I went there I got food poisoning. Was it the greens or the old pizza they gave us when they lost our order? Never again.

It's ok, not what it was when I worked there over 30 years ago.

Lovely atmosphere, and wonderful food. Started with a great salad with watercress, radicchio and many other items with an inspired dressing. My filet was cooked perfectly, medium rare, accompanied by true frites! Wine was great as well. Try this gem of a restaurant, great food and ambience of Woodside.

Cozy, off-the-path dining experience with a wonderful chef and hostess. Wide selection of delicious, well-prepared cuisine. Friendly and attractive to both young and older crowds (kid-friendly, too!).

Lovely place to eat dinner. The burgers make it worth coming back again and again.

My family and me went there for a lunch. The outdoor sitting area was pretty nice and comfortable. The service was very slow, we had to wait for the menu for 5 minutes. We ordered soup and burger. The food was decent, but way below the expectation of that place. We ordered desert, but after 10 mins we were told they run out of that specific desert.

Nice location and quality steak that is for sure. As much as i wanted to give them 5 stars, the service needs help.

Service was slow but good, good salad and french onion soup. Friend chicken was ok but I think it was pre made frozen, just a hunch.

Wonderful!!! Right in the heart of Woodside, amidst nature, I was attended by the owner who served me very well and suggested me this special rhizoto, as a cover charge, a delicious and different bread with nuts and berries made by her. Unmissable!!! Charming and cozy place

Small restaurant tucked away from the main intersection of Woodside. Food menu is pretty standard diner fare; burgers and sandwiches, along with offering of steak and fish/seafood dishes. There is also the usual selection of beer and wine. The setting is cozy, wait-staff attentiveness is ok - we had to get attention of the wait-staff after the initial order. Prices of menu items are at premium - $14 for cheese burger w/ ok fries, $8.50 for beer. They also had a live band playing that evening. Overall, I felt the combination of dining experience, food and price was ok.

You visit the Little Store more for the atmosphere than for the food, but the food is pretty good also! We live about 1.5 miles from the Little Store and love that we can always walk in and grab a table indoors or out with a cute red checkered table cloth. For drinks, you can choose sodas, mediocre wine, or good beer on tap. The servers are sweet and the vibe is relaxed. On Tuesday nights from 6 - 8 pm, they feature live banjo music!For food, the French onion soup is a great starter as are the salads. The menu seems American/Mexican/a little bit French. The taco salad is a great choice for a main course and my husband enjoys the burger. They often have a couple different types of dessert such as a slice of cheesecake or something chocolate. The Little Store is quaint and worth a visit if you're looking for a relaxed spot near the woods to enjoy a meal!

Quiet place, the food is good but fairly simple. There are chicken sandwiches, pasta, items from the grill, etc. Nothing too fancy.

Honestly, nothing super remarkable about this place. Live music was great on a Sunday evening. Menu has some great items but a few dollars more than I expected when looking at portions. All draft beers were $8, ouch. Willing to try again, kudos for at least 1 vegan item on menu (special of the day).
